Why have we moved so much you might ask? Gosh, I don't even know entirely. I suppose there were little reasons here and there for each move, but I suppose that's not really the point. I am a person who loves change and so it has worked for me. Needless to say though, I am entirely sick of moving! Especially right now, as we are in the throes of physically packing and moving our things out of our current home and into the farmhouse. My husband and I have moved every single time without much help (although my mother has helped clean a nasty house or two) and this time is without exception, although I did have my mother watching the kids this week, which was pretty awesome of her. My legs are mottled with bruises from carrying heavy furniture and boxes. In fact, I look like a human version of a dalmatian. All in all though, it has gone well as far as moves go. My husband and I used to joke that if he didn't have a bad back we could've easily opened a moving company. We've got this thing down since we've done it so many times.
Anyway, Friday we should be out and the work on the house has already begun. This will officially be our first fixer upper and we're chomping at the bit to get started. We already have a drywall guy that has started repairing the cracked walls and mudding the master bath, so we are on our way and the first step in renovations has begun!! And, yes, I do have pics but can't put them up at the moment because they're on my husband's phone. Tomorrow though--then I will have pics of our fixer upper. :)
